Milwaukee Bucks guard Kevin Porter Jr. will be sidelined for approximately four weeks with a meniscus injury in his right knee.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

He sustained the injury while working out on the court Thursday and will require a minor orthopedic procedure, the team announced Friday night.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

<\/p>\n

Porter, 25, hasn’t played since sustaining a sprained left ankle during the first quarter of Milwaukee’s season-opening 133-120 win against the Washington Wizards on Oct. 22. He finished with 10 points in nine minutes.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Porter is playing his first full season with the Bucks after being acquired in a trade last February with the Los Angeles Clippers. He signed a two-year, $10.5 million deal with Milwaukee this summer, with the second year being a player option.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

A 2019 first-round pick by Milwaukee, Porter has career averages of 13.9 points, 4.6 assists and 4.1 rebounds in 272 games (151 starts) with the Cleveland Cavaliers (2019-20), Houston Rockets (2020-23), Los Angeles Clippers (2024-25) and Bucks.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
