Mandatory Credit: Petre Thomas-Imagn Images <\/span><\/div>\n<\/section>\nMemphis Grizzlles All-Star guard Ja Morant took aim at his own coaches when asked about his struggles during the team’s 117-112 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Morant went 3-for-14 from the floor — and 0-for-6 from 3-point range — en route to being limited to just eight points in the setback.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n When asked about what he noticed about the game, Morant told reporters to “go ask the coaching staff.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n <\/p>\n He repeated a similar version of that answer on four separate occasions before being asked what could’ve been done differently to get a better outcome in the game.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n “According to them, probably don’t play me, honestly,” Morant said. “That’s basically what the message was after (the game). It’s cool.”<\/p>\n<\/section>\n Morant is averaging 20.8 points and 6.7 assists while logging a career-low 28.5 minutes through six games under Grizzlies coach Tuomas Iisalo.
