The CPSC is warning Peloton users to \u201cimmediately stop using the recalled exercise bikes.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe integrity of our products and our Members\u2019 well-being are our top priorities,\u201d Peloton spokesperson Stephanie Tackach said in an emailed statement to TechCrunch. \u201cWe are taking this opportunity to make replacement seat posts available to all affected Bike+ users and we encourage them to contact us to receive the redesigned seat post as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This isn\u2019t the first time that Peloton has issued a recall. The company <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/05\/11\/peloton-recalls-millions-of-exercise-bikes-after-reports-of-injuries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recalled around 2.2 million exercise bikes<\/a> over safety concerns in 2023 after reports of customer injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thursday\u2019s recall marks the latest setback for Peloton, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2024\/05\/02\/1248663238\/peloton-is-laying-off-workers-and-replacing-the-ceo-again\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">replaced its CEO and laid off hundreds of workers<\/a> last year.
