The company <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/entertainment\/streaming\/amazon-adds-ai-generated-video-recaps-for-select-prime-video-shows-190758346.html\" data-i13n=\"cpos:1;pos:1\" data-ylk=\"slk:announced its new Video Recaps feature;cpos:1;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced its new Video Recaps feature<\/a> in November as a way to make it easier to jump into a new season of a show, but the feature had issues: <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/ai\/amazons-ai-generated-recap-tool-didnt-watch-fallout-very-closely-215712958.html\" data-i13n=\"cpos:2;pos:1\" data-ylk=\"slk:A recap created for Fallout;cpos:2;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A recap created for <em>Fallout<\/em><\/a> included factual errors about the plot and the setting of the show.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 leading-7 text-[18px] md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0 charcoal-color\">On Prime Video, recaps can be played in the &#8220;Extras&#8221; section if you&#8217;re watching on the web, or via a dedicated &#8220;recap button&#8221; on the show&#8217;s page, according to Amazon&#8217;s original <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aboutamazon.com\/news\/entertainment\/ai-plot-summary-video-recaps-prime-video\" data-i13n=\"cpos:3;pos:1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Video Recaps announcement;cpos:3;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">Video Recaps announcement<\/a>. If you head to the <em>Fallout s<\/em>eason two page now, the erroneous recap has been removed. In fact, at least on the web, there are currently no video recaps available on the show&#8217;s Amazon was testing the feature on, which includes <em>Fallout, Bosch, Upload, The Rig<\/em> and <em>Tom Clancy&#8217;s Jack Ryan<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 leading-7 text-[18px] md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0 charcoal-color\">Engadget has contacted Amazon for more information on why the recaps were removed.
