Mandatory Credit: Nick Turchiaro-Imagn Images<!-- --> <!-- --> <\/span><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-1\">\n<p>The Edmonton Oilers placed newly-acquired No. 1 goaltender Tristan Jarry on injured reserve on Friday with a lower-body injury.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-2\">\n<p>Jarry, who was making his third start for Edmonton on Thursday, awkwardly stretched across the crease late in the second period at Boston. With 3:52 left in the period, he slowly skated off the ice and was replaced by Calvin Pickard, who stopped all 13 shots in a 3-1 Oilers&#8217; victory.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-3\">\n<p>In corresponding moves, Edmonton recalled goaltender Connor Ingram from Bakersfield of the American Hockey League and transferred forward Jack Roslovic to long-term injured reserve.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p><\/p>\n<section id=\"section-4\">\n<p>In an exchange of No. 1 goalies, the Pittsburgh Penguins sent Jarry and forward Sam Poulin to Edmonton on Dec. 12 for goaltender Stuart Skinner, defenseman Brett Kulak and their 2029 second-round draft selection.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-5\">\n<p>Jarry was credited with the win vs. Boston and improved to 12-3-1 on the season. He has a 2.73 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage in 16 games.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-6\">\n<p>The 30-year old British Columbia native owns a 2.75 GAA and .909 save percentage in 310 career contests, dating back to 2016-17.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-7\">\n<p>Jarry was a second round pick of the Penguins (44th overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
