UFC bantamweight Cameron Smotherman collapsed Friday after his weigh-in for Saturday’s UFC 324 in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Smotherman, 28, successfully made weight at 135.5 pounds but fell to the floor after stepping off the scale.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

He was carried off the platform and examined by physicians at T-Mobile Arena, but no update has been provided.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

<\/p>\n

The scheduled fight between Smotherman (12-6) and Ricky Turcios (13-5) was canceled.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Two other fighters missed weight — bantamweight Deiveson Figueiredo and flyweight Alex Perez — and were fined 25% of their purses. Their bouts will continue as planned.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

Saturday night’s headliner is a clash between Paddy Pimblett and Justin Gaethje for the interim lightweight title.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
