Mandatory Credit: Daniel Kucin Jr.-Imagn Images<!-- --> <!-- --> <\/span><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-1\">\n<p>The Charlotte Hornets traded newly-acquired guard Tyus Jones to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday for guard Malaki Branham, ESPN reported.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-2\">\n<p>The move opens a $7 million trade exception, according to the report.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p><\/p>\n<section id=\"section-3\">\n<p>Jones, 29, had just been traded from the Orlando Magic to the Wizards for cash considerations. He was scoring 3.0 points with 2.4 assists in 48 games (eight starts) for the Magic this season.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-4\">\n<p>In 11 career seasons with five organizations, Jones has scored 7.4 points with 4.3 assists in 730 games (226 starts).<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"section-5\">\n<p>Branham, 22, was traded from the Washington Wizards to the Mavericks in the Anthony Davis deal on Wednesday.
